An enhanced and fully digital welcome experience for plan members coming in May

(For small and mid-market groups only) We’re excited to introduce some changes to improve the welcome experience to make it easier and more engaging for new plan members joining a Manulife group benefits plan. These changes apply to small and mid-market groups only.

How is the experience changing?

  • An improved and easy welcome process with an email invitation to register to the Plan member site. 

Members receive a welcome email with everything they need to get started with their benefits plan.

They register on the site and review their personal information.

They download their digital benefits card on the site or the Manulife Mobile app

They’re all set to start managing their group benefits and submit claims online

  • No more plastic benefits card. Now that members will get their contract and certificate numbers through their welcome email, they can engage with their plan easily by signing up on the Plan member site and access their benefits card on the go.
  • An improved and self-serve functionality for plan members to review and manage personal information online*. Based on your plan design, members will have view/edit or view only access to some of their personal information. Information is updated in real-time − no need to call the call center or plan administrator.

These changes will result in less administration and coordination for you, so that you can focus your time and energy on what matters most.
