These sample contracts show a few available Manulife UL (Universal Life) insurance options. There are other types and death benefits available as well. If an option you’re looking for isn’t included below, please speak with your advisor.

YRT = Yearly Renewable Term, premiums increase over time
Level = Premiums do not change during the life of the policy
Face = Face value of the death benefit, sum paid out to beneficiaries
Plus = Might suggest additional features or benefits included or added to a policy’s face amount
Account value = Policy typically includes an investment or cash value component

3. Whole Life - Manulife Par

Manulife Par Single-Life

  • Covers one person
  • Builds cash value, and may pay dividends

  • Covers two people. Pays out when the second person dies
  • Builds cash value, and may pay dividends

Manulife Par – Riders

  • Add-ons like critical illness or disability coverage
  • Builds cash value, and may pay dividends

  • Includes health rewards
  • Covers one person
  • Single Life, Cash & Paid-up insurance dividends

  • You pay premiums until age 100, which may lower yearly costs
