Your Manulife ID is your key to all things Manulife. It’s a single, secure username and password for everything you have with us. It replaces all your old usernames and passwords, and you use it to sign in to your Manulife accounts.

Tell me about Manulife ID

Manulife ID is a single, secure username and password for all your Manulife accounts – both personal and those you hold through your employer’s plan!

It replaces your old Manulife sign-in credentials with one ID – whether you use a desktop or mobile device, you’ll get the same, simplified online experience to access all your Manulife accounts.

After you create and activate your Manulife ID, you’ll connect it to your group benefits account and other Manulife accounts you may hold as well. You’ll only need to connect your accounts once!

Then, use your Manulife ID to sign in online or in your Manulife Mobile app. It’s quick to switch between your accounts under that single sign in experience – giving you easy access to a clearer picture of your finances. 

Actually, it is! If you’re a Manulife Online Access customer, your existing username and password have automatically become your Manulife ID. Use those credentials to sign into any of the following accounts you may hold. Get a taste of the Manulife ID experience:

  • Retirement Redefined
  • Manulife Securities
  • Manulife Investment Management
  • Manulife VitalityTM

If you are a Manulife Bank customer, you may have connected your Manulife Bank accounts to a Manulife ID as well.

To confirm if you already have a Manulife ID, click Forgot your username on the Manulife ID sign in page and enter your email address. If you already have a Manulife ID, you’ll receive an email from us.

If you already have a Manulife ID, you can use it now to connect to any of the following accounts you may hold:

  • Retirement Redefined
  • Manulife Securities
  • Manulife Investment Management
  • Manulife VitalityTM
  • Manulife Bank

Coming soon, you’ll also be able to connect to any of the following accounts:

  • Group retirement
  • Group benefits (including Manulife VitalityTM for Group Benefits)
  • Manulife Insurance

Yes. If you don’t already have a Manulife ID, you’ll need to set one up to access your group benefits account going forward. You’ll use your new Manulife ID to sign in and manage both your individual and group accounts online.

Manulife ID is coming soon. As we get closer to launch, support to help set up your Manulife ID will be available.

Once we launch support for group benefits, you’ll need to set up a new Manulife ID the first time you go to sign in to your accounts. After that, you’ll simply sign in using your Manulife ID to manage your Manulife accounts all in one place.

Setting up a Manulife ID is simple! It’s one username and password -- the same kind of information you use now to manage your group benefits and group retirement plans. With user-friendly designs and guided help, we’ll walk you through the process of setting up your new Manulife ID.

Simply:

In order to connect your group benefits account to your new Manulife ID, you will need to have your plan contract number, member certificate number and password you used for signing in to your account before you created your new Manulife ID.

You can find your plan contract number and member certificate number on your benefits card. Grab a digital benefits card today through the Manulife Mobile app or your secure member site.  

IMPORTANT STEP: You should save your plan contract number and member certificate number before Manulife ID launches. You will not be able to access your digital benefits card during the setup process.
