Official Contest Rules & Regulations

To enter and be eligible to win, you must be a resident of Canada who has reached the age of majority in your province of residence, and have participated in a free webinar of the Manulife’s webinar series and completed the satisfaction survey within the promotional period. Only one (1) survey may be completed after participating in a webinar session for entry into the Manulife webinar series Contest (the “Contest”).

You are not eligible to enter this contest if you, your spouse, child or parent or a person you are domiciled with, is an employee, representative or agent of Manulife or a subsidiary or affiliate of Manulife or their promotional or advertising agencies. Any decision made by Manulife in respect of any entrant’s eligibility is final and non-appealable.

No purchase necessary to enter or win. All eligible individuals who participate in a free webinar and complete the survey will be automatically entered into the Contest). Once your survey is completed, you will be entered into the Contest, if you meet the eligibility requirements in rule #1. Online access is required in order to participate in this Contest. Many public libraries, retail businesses and others offer free access to computers and Internet service.

a) Manulife, the Contest Sponsor, reserves the right to terminate or alter this Contest at any time or to alter the Contest Rules without prior notice.

b) The declared prize winner agrees to sign Manulife’s standard declaration and release form (“Declaration, Release and Publicity Consent”) confirming compliance with these Official Rules and Regulations and waiving any liability of Manulife, its directors, officers, employees, and agents, affiliates and advisors with regard to injury, accident, loss or damage of any kind arising out of participation in this promotion or acceptance of the Prize as awarded. If a declared Prize Winner is determined to be ineligible by Manulife, or fails to return the completed Declaration and Release as required within fifteen (15) days of notification thereof by Manulife, Manulife may declare their Prize to be forfeited and a new potential winner may be selected and contacted, in accordance with rule #4 above, until a new Prize Winner for that Prize is declared.

c) Manulife assumes no responsibility for entries that are lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected either prior to or after delivery of the entry to Manulife. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are, or become, illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way. Entrants agree to abide by these Contest Rules and the decisions of Manulife, which are final. All entries become the property of Manulife and will not be returned.

d) By accepting their Prize, the Prize Winner consents to the use and release of their name, address and/or photographs, without further compensation, to the public and in any advertising or publicity as may be carried out by Manulife in its sole discretion.

e) If Manulife determines that potential entrants are prevented from entering the Contest due to technical difficulties, Manulife may, without notice to any entrant or potential entrant, extend the Contest for such period of time as Manulife deems appropriate in the circumstances.

f) Neither Manulife nor its officers, directors, employees or agents shall in any way bear any liability whatsoever regarding the prizes awarded.

g) The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.

To obtain a list of the name of the Prize Winner, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Webinar series team Contest Winners List, Attn: GBRS National Education Team, Manulife 500 King St N, Waterloo, N2J 4C6 or email your request to gsrs_national_education@manulife.ca. Requests for the name(s) of winner(s) must be received within 90 days of the Contest Closing Date.
