Fiona Campbell, National Director to be inducted into Canadian Mortgage Hall of Fame

We are thrilled to announce that Fiona Campbell, National Director for Manulife Bank’s broker channel is being inducted into Mortgage Professionals Canada’s Canadian Mortgage Hall of Fame.

The Canadian Mortgage Hall of Fame honours mortgage industry leaders whose achievements and service have contributed to the success of the Canadian mortgage industry. Inductees to the Mortgage Hall of Fame have provided leadership, vision and inspiration in their profession and strive to make a difference to enhance industry standards.

Fiona will be on hand to accept this honour at the 2023 Canadian Mortgage Hall of Fame awards Gala, taking place in Toronto on October 16, during the 2023 National Mortgage Conference.

Fiona is a female pioneer of the mortgage broker industry. Having served the financial services and broker community for over three decades, Fiona rose through the mortgage areas of CIBC before embracing the independence of the mortgage broker marketplace.

Fiona is well known for her passion for building strategies to recruit and retain high potential agents. This shone bright when holding several senior leadership titles at Invis. In her role as VP of Eastern Canada, she helped Invis grow exponentially from 70 employees and over 1000+ agents in Canada.

Looking for a new challenge, Fiona opened her own consulting practice, but it wasn’t long before another major mortgage solutions provider, Home Equity Bank, needed her skills for their National Partnership Director with Mortgage Brokers.

When Manulife Bank made a strategic decision to enter the mortgage broker marketplace, they also sought out expertise from industry veterans. Fortunately, Fiona Campbell saw this new endeavour as an opportunity to share her years of experience. As National Director, she excelled at building new broker partnerships. Her knowledge and skills have led to a focus on debt and cash flow education as well as long-term strategic business planning.

Along the way she has been a past board member of Canadian Mortgage Brokers Association (CMBA) Ontario, a strong supporter of WIMI (Women in the Mortgage Industry), and two-time winner of CMP Magazine’s “Women of Influence”. The Canadian Mortgage Awards recently recognized Fiona’s contributions to the mortgage industry with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Fiona can be spotted at many industry events by the crowd of people that come up to her and reconnect after she mentored or supported their success at some point during her career. Fiona continues to be a woman of influence daily. Fiona’s career is truly inspiring.
