The Bike and Hike event takes place in RIM Park (near the Manulife Sportsplex and Healthy Living Centre)

| 8 a.m. | Check-in and donation collection at Bike & Hike site begins in the event tent |
| 9:15 a.m. | Opening ceremonies at the start/finish line |
| 9:30 a.m. | Cyclists Depart |
| 9:45 a.m. (approx.) | Walkers Depart |
| 10:15 a.m. | Light lunch and post-event celebrations begin

Remember, your safety and the safety of any children accompanying you, is your responsibility. Have fun but stay safe! Cycling and walking routes will be well marked and supported by local police, route marshals, road ambassadors and emergency service vehicles. If you don ’t have a helmet, rent one on Bike & Hike day (sizes XS to XL adult; $2 per helmet; $20 refundable deposit required per person). Or buy one on Bike & Hike day from King Street Cycles ($30 per helmet).
Normal rules of the road apply to all participants. Routes are well marked and supported by local police, route marshals, road ambassadors and emergency services vehicles. As part of the region's Road Safety Challenge, local police will be on hand to do equipment safety checks. |
