The most successful fundraisers
Studies show that the most successful fundraisers solicit sponsors using a combination of online and offline requests. An online request would be an email sent to potential sponsors from the new Bike & Hike online tool. Requests made offline would be any face-to-face requests that you make and then record on a sponsor form. You can decide where a personal request would make more sense, for example, the colleague who sits right beside you at work. The Bike & Hike online fundraising tool allows you to track both your online and offline donations. This year, we’re asking each participant to raise a minimum of $50 to support this important community resource. With the online fundraising tool, it’s easy to do. Your supporters can make a secure credit card donation to St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation and get an instant e-tax receipt. Corporate Challenge participants last year raised an average of $150 per person.
